Understanding the Lumia uPVC Series: 60 to 110
By SCA uPVC Team · 13 June 2026 · 6 min read
When you look at our specifications you will see profiles like the 60 Sliding Frame (T60K) or the 110 Sliding Frame (T110K(B)). The number refers to the profile system depth, and as it grows, so does the strength and the size of opening it can carry.
Sliding systems: 60, 80, 88, 99 and 110
- Lumia 60 Sliding: everyday windows with 1.8mm wall gauges and steel-reinforced chambers.
- Lumia 80 Sliding: heavier frames up to 2.2mm for larger windows and panels.
- Lumia 88 Sliding: 2.2mm gauge sashes for tall, wide openings.
- Lumia 99 and 110 Sliding: heavy 2.1 to 2.5mm track systems for floor-to-ceiling panoramic doors.
Casement and door systems: Lumia 60
The Lumia 60 Casement Series covers swing windows and doors with 2.2mm sash gauges, multi-point hermetic locking and inward or outward opening panels for both windows and heavy-duty doors.
Why wall gauge matters
Wall gauge is the thickness of the uPVC walls inside the profile, typically 1.8 to 2.5mm in our range. Thicker walls plus steel reinforcement mean a stiffer frame that resists sagging, carries larger glass and stays square for decades.
Bigger glass and taller doors need a deeper, thicker-gauge system. The series number is your shortcut to the right strength.
Match a series to your project
Standard extrusion lengths run 5.8 to 6.0m and every system is dual-seal ready. Not sure which series fits your design? Browse the Specs section on our site or request the full technical catalogue with STC tables and cross-sections from our inquiry desk.
